Hailing from Lexington, KY, Israeli-American Tenor Tomer Eres recently completed his Master’s of Music in voice performance and pedagogy at the prestigious University of Houston Moores school of Music. Tomer began teaching voice privately two years ago in the Houston area, and maintained a small studio during his Master’s studies.
As a teacher, Tomer strives to help his students improve their singing by implementing healthy habits early on and laying strong vocal foundations. Aside from his teaching, Tomer performs consistently in the Houston area and beyond, with such highlights as Raimondo Bennetti in Moores Opera Center’s “I due timidi,” and as Sam Polk in Opera in the Ozarks production of “Susannah.” Tomer is also a graduate of the renowned University of Michigan School
of Music, Theatre, and Dance where he obtained a Bachelor’s of Music in voice performance.
